European VLBI Meeting in Finland

The 21st Meeting of the European VLBI Group for Geodesy and Astrometry (EVGA) was held in Espoo, Finland from 5 to 8 March 2013. For the first time this assembly was following a 4-day VLBI school which was attended by a large group of students, from master-level to VLBI experts. The VLBI group of GEO contributed with a lecture on atmosphere in VLBI (Johannes Böhm), five talks and a poster. Besides the purely scientific sessions, the whole VLBI community once more showed its unity and several arrangements for future collaborations could be discussed. This let us nearly forget about the snow storms and -7° temperature.
