Hermannskogel-run 2015

The ninth edition of the famous annual Hermannskogel-run from Weidling (260 m NN) up to fundamental point of Austrian surveying at the Habsburgwarte (542 m NN) was spontaneously organized at the hot, late summer evening of 31 August 2015. Among the seven runners, Claudius Schmitt from the Engineering Geodesy group came first in a formidable time of 17 minutes 25 seconds. Other attendees tackled the track by bike or walked to the Habsburgwarte from the nearby Cobenzl hill. All participants met for dinner at Gasthof Waldgrill to conclude the day in a relaxed atmosphere.
