UN reports on new CCI data set in connection with Southern Europe's drought

In connection with this summer's drought in Southern Europe, the United Nations reports on their UN-SPIDER website about the new near-real-time soil moisture data set of the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Climate Change Initiative (CCI) which has been developed partly by our research group on remote sensing.
